Parks, glaciers and fjords in Southern Patagonia

18 days and 17 nights

The most complete experience in Southern Patagonia. After exploring Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, take a cruise through the fjords to discover Cape Horn, the last point of the American continent before Antarctica.

Day 1: Buenos Aires. Tango Show Dinner

At nightTango Show dinner.

Day 2: Buenos Aires. City Tour

In the afternoon enjoy a City Tour to visit Plaza de Mayo where the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Casa Rosada are located, the Colón Theater, La Boca with its famous Caminito Street and Puerto Madero area with its fancy restaurants.

Day 3: Buenos Aires – Ushuaia

Fly to Ushuaia.

Day 4: Tierra del Fuego National park - Beagle Channel Sailing in yate

Visit Tierra del Fuego National Park, surrounded by mountains and forest of unique beauty. In the afternoon, leaving from the Ushuaia Port explore Beagle Channel on Yacht.

Day 5: Hike with penguins and Beagle Channel Sailing

Visit Estancia Harberton by sailing the Beagle Channel. On arrival, board a small zodiac boat to reach Martillo Island and enjoy a hike with Penguins.
Out of season, you can chose to take the Off Road lakes tour.

Day 6: Ushuaia. Board Australis Cruise

Check in at 409 San Martín Ave. in downtown Ushuaia between 10 AM-5 PM. Board the ship at 6 PM. Welcome cocktail and introduction to the Captain and crew. This night, the ship will sail towards the South end. Through the mythical Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan, you will explore Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.

Day 7: Cape Horn - Wulaia Bay

We will sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay arriving at Cape Horn National Park, where we will disembark if weather conditions allow. In the afternoon, we will disembark at Wulaia Bay, one of the largest ancient settlements of the native Yámanas canoeists. This area is also renowned for its dazzling beauty and unique geography. We will reach an amazing viewpoint, walking through the Magellan forest admiring lengas, coigües, cinnamon sticks and ferns.

Day 8: Pía Glacier – Garibaldi Glacier

We will sail along the Northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to enter and disembark at the Pia fjord. We will walk towards a viewpoint to observe the Pía Glacier. Going further west along beagle Channel we will enter the Garibaldi fjord to hike in a cold Patagonian virgin Magellanic forest and reach a glacial waterfall, a towering wall of ferns and moss. At this point we will have spectacular views of the glacier and the entire fjord.

Day 9: Agostini Sound – Águila Glacier – Cóndor Glacier

We will sail the Cockburn channel to enter the Agostini Sound, to appreciate the glaciers that descend from the Darwin mountain range, some reaching the sea. We will disembarkand go for an easy walk around a lagoon, which was formed by the melting of the Águila Glacier. In the afternoon, we will approach the Condor glacier via Zodiac.

Day 10: Magdalena Island - Punta Arenas

First thing in the morning, if weather conditions allow it, we will disembark on Magdalena Island, which used to be an essential source of supplies for navigators and explorers. We will be able to appreciate an immense colony of Magellanic penguins. In September and April -- when the penguins dwell elsewhere -- this excursion is replaced by sailing to Marta Island to see South American sea lions. Finally, we will arrive at Punta Arenas, disembarking at 11:30 a.m. Transfer by land to Remota Hotel in Torres Del Paine.

Days 11 and 12: Hotel Remota Hotel

Days to explore Torres de Paine National Parkwith the "Adventure program" at Hotel Remota.

Day 13: Torres del Paine - El Calafate

Transfer by land to El Calafate.

Day 14: Ice Trekking at Perito Moreno Glacier

We will embark in the Bajo de las Sombras port, and after 20 minutes of sailing, we will reach the southwest coast, accessing the refuge to start the trek on the Glacier. We will start a walk along the shore until we reach the edge of the ice. The Ice trekking at Perito Moreno Glacier is an hour and a half long.

Day 15: Glaciers Gourmet Sailing Experience

Today we will head towards the Argentino Lake to board a cruise to explore it. After two hours of the Glaciers Gourmet Sailing Experience we will observe icebergs of various sizes and shades of blue and white. We will go on towards the Spegazzini Channel where a close-up navigation will allow us to have a stunning view of the Spegazzini Glacier.
At De las Vacas port, we can take a walk to reach several stunning lookout points.

Day 16: Calafate - Buenos Aires

Fly to Buenos Aires.

Day 17: Tigre and DeltaSailing

Visit Tigre and enjoy a river sailing, where we will know the particular geography of one of the few Deltas in the world.

Day 18: End of the tour

Say goodbye and transfer to the airport.
