Beagle Channel Sailing by Yacht

We sail the Beagle Channel on 15m long 'Grand Banks' yachts, in a family atmosphere. Passing through various islands to the Lighthouse at the End of the World, we can take spectacular pictures from one of the three levels of deck, enjoying the sun and the Patagonian air.

The excursion starts from the Ushuaia local port towards Alicia Island where we will find a colony of South American sea lions. Then we sail to Bird Island to watch king shags and imperial shags living close to their nests, and from spring through fall we can even find their breeds.

Later we will sail to a small island where we can find fur seals. Nearby is the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (Lighthouse at the End of the World), which is the symbol of the city of Ushuaia and was built in 1919. From there it is possible to see the island of rock shags.

On our return, we will dock at Bridges Island. There we will walk along a path for the interpretation of wildlife, while listening to the history of the native inhabitants, the Yamanas. On this island, we can find the largest Yamana's "concheros" (Shelly deposits) of the region.

During the entire sailing we will share coffee with liquor, different varieties of tea, hot chocolate with biscuits and, of course, the typical Argentine drink: “El mate”.
