Nature in Family in Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia and Buenos Aires

In this tour you will be able to know two of the most important natural destinations in Argentina visiting the cities of Puerto Madryn and Ushuaia. In them you can discover a great variety of animals and seabirds as well as vast vegetation within the reserves and National Parks. You can spot penguins and whales.

Day 1: Buenos Aires, City Tour

In the afternoon enjoy a City Tour to visit Plaza de Mayo where the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Casa Rosada are located, the Colón Theater, La Boca with its famous Caminito Street and Puerto Madero area with its fancy restaurants.  

Day 2: Visit to Temaiken Bio-Park

We will discover a unique park in Latin America where nature amazes and teaches. Located just 50 kms from the City of Buenos Aires. Temaiken is a fantastic place to enjoy and learn about our fauna in its natural environment including sharks swimming just a few inches from our heads. Temaiken Bio-parkis a fantastic experience for all ages!

Day 3: Buenos Aires – Trelew – Puerto Madryn

Fly to Trelew and then transfer to Puerto Madryn,

Day 4: Península Valdés Tour with Whale or Marine Fauna Watching

During this family trip we will explore the whole Península Valdés visiting Puerto Pirámides and making stops at Caleta Valdés, Punta del Cantor and Punta Norte to see the varied marine fauna and different protected species that inhabit the peninsula.
One of the highlights of this tour is Puerto Pyramids, where we can choose to do whale watching some other type of marine fauna, depending on the season.

Day 5: Visit Estancia El Pedral – Penguins Colony

 
This day will be one of the most exciting for the children! Visiting El Pedral, an authentic Patagonian estancia we will see a Magellanic penguin colony on the shores of it. A guided tour between their nests will give us the opportunity to know better these curious animals.

Day 6: Puerto Madryn - Ushuaia

Fly to Ushuaia.

Day 7: Tierra del Fuego National Park and Beagle Channel Sailing

Explore Tierra del Fuego National Park through different hiking trails and enjoy the Beagle Channel on an exclusive sailing from Lapataia Bay to the city dock having a delicious snack on board.

Day 8: Off Road Lakes

We will live the real family adventure on this Off Road Lake expedition!
Heading towards Paso Garibaldi we will have spectacular panoramic views of the Lakes Escondido and Fagnano.
We will hike on the edge of the lake till we reach our shelter, where a barbecue awaits us, being the perfect ending of this adventure for the wholefamily.

Day 9: Ushuaia – Buenos Aires

Fly to Buenos Aires.

Day 10: Estancia and Countryside Experience

Visit the countryside for a full-day at an Estancia in the Pampas. Enjoy all ranch activities: a traditional folk show, a BBQ lunch, wine and a performance of the gaucho’s fantastic horse-riding skills. For the kids there is also an animal farm and Sulky rides.

Day 11: End of the Tour

Say goodbye and transfer to the airport.

In 1999 the area known as Peninsula Valdes was declared Natural World Heritage by the UNESCO. It is worldwide known because Southern Right Whales mate and calve in these waters during the months from June to December. It is also important to highlight the variety of fauna in this zone: Elephant Seals, South American Sea Lions, Orcas, Magellanic Penguins, Commerson’s Dolphins, Dolphins, Lesser rheas, Guanacos, Patagonian maras and a variety of sea birds.

Puerto Madrynwas declared Capital of Diving in Argentina. Many of those who love diving visit it because of the clear and deep waters of Golfo Nuevo and Golfo San José to be in better contact with the marine fauna.
