Península Valdés in full

During this trip we will tour the whole Península Valdés, a World Heritage Site and see the different protected species that inhabit the peninsula. We will visit the small village of Puerto Pirámides and make stops at Caleta Valdés, Punta del Cantor and Punta Norte to see the varied marine fauna.

On our first stop, we will visit the Interpretation Center Ameghino Istmus, which features an exhibit of native flora and fauna.

One of the highlights of this trip, is Puerto Pyramids, where we can choose to do whale watching from June to December or some other type of marine fauna, depending on the season (optional).

Within the Península Valdés, we will observe sea lions, elephant seals, as well as diversity of terrestrial fauna such as guanacos, choiques, maras, armadillos, gray foxes and birdlife. Depending on the time of the year we may also obverse Magellanic Penguins and orcas in their natural habitat.
