This tour is an amazing journey through the Lagos andinos patagónicos which connects Argentina and Chile. Through it, the native mapuches traveled for over 4 centuries, leaving their history on the area. You’ll live out a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
The Andean Lake Crossing begins in Puerto Pañuelo, 25 km away from Bariloche, boarding a catamaran to Puerto Blest. The itinerary includes Puerto Alegre, Puerto Frías, Peulla, Petrohué, Puerto Varas, staying there overnight and returning to Bariloche the following day.

PUERTO FRÍAS / PEULLA
Here we are at the border between Argentina and Chile. As we go along we will also enjoy the beautiful Valdivian cold forest.
27 km (17 miles) – 2 hours by bus (including formalities at the Customs) maximum height: 976 m above sea level (3,100 feet).
PEULLA / PETROHUE
20 nautical miles – 1 hour, 40 minutes navigation, maximum height reached: 150 m above sea level (500 feet).
PETROHUE / PUERTO VARAS
56 km (35 miles) – 1 hour and 40 minutes by bus, maximum height: 150 m above sea level (500 feet).
Once we arrive at Puerto Varas we will be transferred to the chosen hotel
Early breakfast and transfer to the bus terminal to take a regular bus to Bariloche. After 6 or 7 hours we will arrive in Bariloche.
