National Park Trekking and Canoeing

During theNational Park Trekking & Canoeing activity, we will explore the southernmost Park in a different way, doing trekking along the Beagle Channel shore and canoeing in Lapataia Bay.

This activity invites you to enjoy 8 hours among the nature of the Tierra del Fuego National Park. The experience proposes a trek and an easy activity in inflatable canoes, in an area where sea, rivers, mountains and forests come together.

We will go trekking around 4 hours along the Beagle Channel shore. The trek gives us the opportunity to be part of this paradise where the mountains can be reached from the shore of the sea, and the fresh water of rivers and lakes coexists with the marine coast.

Near Lake Roca we will have lunch in our cozy tents protecting us from the weather. After this recess, and after fitting the rubber boots, over pants and lifejackets, we will paddle easily in an inflatable canoe (ducky type, very safe and stable) from Lake Roca, down the quiet Lapataia and Ovando rivers.

For about an hour, we will see the flora and fauna from our canoes, approaching the point of view enjoyed by the Yámana several centuries ago.
