Lakes Escondido and Fagnano

During the Lakes Escondido and Fagnano activity we will cross the Andes range, bordering Mount Olivia, having an amazing view of the Sierra Alvear. Climbing up to the Paso Garibaldi, we will enjoy a spectacular view of the Lakes Escondido and Fagnano.

In this activity from Ushuaia we will pass the old prison and while entering in the wood we will marvel with the Velo de Novia cascade.

When bordering the Mount Olivia, we can enjoy an amazing view of the Sierra Alvear and further along, the gigantic Turba valley. From this point we start ascending to Paso Garibaldi, to have a marvelous view of the Lakes Escondido and Fagnano.

After some time to take pictures, we start descending to the Lake Escondido, where the Petrel Inn is located having time to enjoy the property and the surroundings.

Then we will take route 3 to visit the sawmill zone, bordering the thick woods of lengas. Finally we will visit the Lake Fagnano where we can see albatrosses and other marine birds.

Meals are not included

Important: During winter, Lake Fagnano cannot be visited.
