Whale Watching at El Doradillo Beach

El Doradillo, a pebble stone beach, is ideal for whale watching from the beach. When there is high tide and the water is deep, this beach is the perfect place to observe whales playing very close to the shore.

According to the tide timetables we will ride in special adapted to the terrain vehicles and from the lookout point at Punta Flechas and Playa Las Canteras, the Southern right whale can be seen from the coast.

If you want to see newborn whales, the perfect time is during August and September.

At present, these beaches are “protected areas” which allows this species to breed in a quiet atmosphere.
