The traditional Huentala Hotel was built in 1976, becoming a turning point in the history of the hotel industry in the Province.

Situated in the best place, in the heart of the city of Mendoza (at the crossroads of Amigorena and Primitivo de la Reta), some steps away from Avenida San Martín (main avenue in Mendoza), 50 meters away from the ACA (Automóvil Club Argentino), a few blocks away from the Post Office, the banking center and the largest commercial center in Mendoza.

The chosen name, which has been kept to these days, represents a tribute to the ancient inhabitants in our land (the Huarpe Milcavac tribe), thus Huentala or Huantata, Guanaco Valley.

In 2004, the Huentala Hotel is purchased by HIH Inversiones Hoteleras, developing a strategy, in order to position it as a Boutique Hotel. That is why the hotel is totally refurbished, transforming the whole of its architecture, with important improvements in its infrastructure, its décor, the furniture, equipment, room design, new services, areas for events, etc.
