Welcome to the IGUAZU GRAND Resort Spa & Casino, a destination for dignitaries, celebrities and international leaders. The IGUAZU GRAND Resort Spa & Casino is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and is renowned as the most luxurious hotel in Iguazu. It is the only luxury resort & casino which is totally equipped and less than ten minutes away for the Iguazu Falls, one of the most beautiful natural wonders. The hotel also has seven green hectares and a luxurious classic architecture.
The hotel opened on the 6th of July, 1998 and was refurbished by its current owners in 2002, who have transformed it into what it is nowadays: the most luxurious resort in the region. In 2002, the old casino was demolished, and a new one was built. They also made three tennis courts, the Spa del Paraiso, Playland (an exclusive place for children and teenagers) and a Paris-style theatre.
In 2003, the IGUAZU GRAND became a member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World. In 2005, the hotel added 48 new Junior Suites and refurbished the restaurant “La Terraza”. In 2006 it won the South America’s Leading Casino Resort prize and in 2009 it was acknowledged by the World Travel Awards as Argentina’s Leading Resort. In 2008 the works to improve the service continued, adding a Roman bath and an indoor heated swimming pool to the Spa.
