This exclusive expedition departs early from El Calafate, following the iconic Route 40 with stunning views of Lake Argentino and key stops along the way—such as the historic Paso La Leona hotel, which feels like a living museum of Route 40, perfect for enjoying coffee and homemade pastries.

We continue along the shores of Lake Viedma, with the majestic Andes mountain range as our backdrop. Upon arrival in El Chaltén, we’ll take a guided walk to the Condors’ Viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of Mount Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre, and the Piedras Blancas Glacier. After about three hours on the road and covering 220 km, we’ll reach the picturesque mountain village of El Chaltén.

Next, we’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll walk to Chorrillo del Salto, a crystal-clear waterfall surrounded by forest—an ideal spot for stunning photos.

We’ll wrap up the day with about an hour of free time to explore the town, visit the local craft brewery, or treat yourself to waffles and a warm cup of tea before heading back to El Calafate.
