The Full Day Chaltén - Trek Pro is the most completely trekking experience in “the capital of trekking” El Chaltén, enjoying a spectacular mountain scenery

The tour starts at 7am from El Calafate and at approximately 10:45 am we’ll arrive at El Chaltén.

Once in El Chaltén area, we continue our ride along the valley of the De las Vueltas River to the Blanco River. There we will arrive at Hostería El Pilar (Pilar Inn), where expert mountain guides will greet us. Our trek starts from here and we will pass through the Piedras Blancas Glacier, Camp Poincenot, Mount Fitz Roy, to finally arrive at the Capri Lagoon.

At the edge of Capri lagoon we will find the Base Camp, where we will enjoy a delicious hot lunch. Afterwards we start to descend to El Chaltén along a path that requires good fitness condition and suitable clothing for mountain activities.

The whole trek lasts approximately 6 hours, arriving at El Chaltén at 5pm.
