The “Estancia Cristina Classic” tour is an excellent option to relax, eat well, stay warm and absorb the real feeling of peace and isolation in this part of Patagonia, located on the North West shore of the Argentino Lake.

Founded in 1914 by Joseph Percival Masters and his wife Elisabeth Waring, the Estancia Cristina maintains the essence of an English family that with effort and love transformed this home into a real paradise. It is a comfortable ranch-style lodge and a fine base from which to explore the remote corner of Los Glaciares National Park, in which it is located.

The boarding and departure is at Puerto Punta Bandera, Argentino Lake, at 8:15 am, sailing among the most varied icebergs in a wonderful landscape where you will see the west wall of the Upsala Glacier
Following the Canal Cristina we disembark at the Estancia around 11:30 am. There you can choose one of the following activities: 4x4 adventure, Horse riding or Trekking.

Once we arrive to Estancia Cristina, an excellent Patagonian-style lunch at the restored shed where wool was dried awaits

During your stay at the Estancia, there is a visit to the Museo Costumbrista (old shearing shed), we will go on a guided tour, passing the Chapel, the historic ranch house, and, then a visit to the Cascada de los Perros, an amazing cascade.

The return trip to Puerto Bandera is around 7:30 pm.

Note: All options include the transfer, the entrance to the National Park and the lunch (or lunch box for the trekking option).
This program offers two alternatives: Discovery and Trekking at the Cañadón de los Fósiles.
