  • Fitz Roy Great Trekking – 8 days and 7 nights

Day 1: Arrival at El Chaltén

Transfer to the Fitz Roy Adventure Camp, on the shore of the Laguna Condor and the Río de las Vueltas. Meeting with the guide to program the activities for the next days. Dinner at Eco Camp.

Day 2: Eco Camp

Breakfast. Activities chosen by the passengers: mountain bike (touring part of the Rio de las Vueltas valley). Hiking (ascending the Loma del Diablo with mountain guide). Canoeing (guided activity in the Río de las Vueltas, with fantastic views of the Cerro Fitz Roy). Dinner at Eco Camp.

Day 3: Fitz Roy Base Camp – Cerro Torre Base Camp

Breakfast at the camp site and then a full day trekking, going through the Rio Blanco valley, passing the Fitz Roy Base Camp. In the afternoon, the trekking continues to the Laguna Torre Base Camp. Dinner at the Thorwood Camp Site.

Day 4: Loma del Pliegue Tumbado

After breakfast we start the trekking through the vegetation that will go changing from thick woods to ice. We will reach a zone with an amazing panoramic view of the incredible Fitz Roy, rivers and valleys. Dinner at the Thorwood Camp Site.

Day 5: Laguna Toro

Breakfast and setting off to Laguna Toro, once again crossing the Fitz Roy River using a Tyrolean traverse, then ascending the Paso de las Agachonas, which crosses the Loma del Pliegue Tumbado. Later, descending to Valle del Río Túnel to arrive at the Laguna Toro Base Camp where we will dine and sleep.

Day 6: Paso del Viento – Lookout at the SPI (South Patagonian Ice)

Breakfast and we set off, bordering the Laguna Toro, crossing the Río Túnel, either wading or on Tyrolean traverse, and starting the trekking towards Paso del Viento, entering the South Patagonian Ice. During the journey you will get a wonderful view of the region. Dinner at Toro Camp Site.

Day 7: Back to El Chaltén

After breakfast we go on a full day trekking to El Chaltén along the Río Túnel Street. Dinner.

Day 8: End of the Program

Breakfast and transfer to the bus terminal.
