This trip to Salta sums up the best of the northwest: the Quebrada de Humahuaca, the return to the Calchaquíes Valleys and Salinas Grandes; a few more days in attractive Buenos Aires.

DAY 1: BUENOS AIRES, CITY TOUR

Arrival at Ezeiza International Airport and transfer to your chosen hotel in the city of Buenos Aires. In the afternoon, tour around the city, visiting Plaza de Mayo, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Casa Rosada, Colón Theater, La Boca neighborhood with its famous Caminito street and Puerto Madero with its internationally recognized restaurants are located. Back to the hotel.

DAY 2: BUENOS AIRES - SALTA

Breakfast and transfer from the hotel to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery to board the flight to the city of Salta. Arrival to the city of Salta. Transfer to your chosen hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 3: JUMP-BROKEN OF HUMAHUACA

Breakfast. Departure to the Quebrada de Humahuaca, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Tour through the cities of Leon, Volcano, Tumbaya, Purmamarca (framed by the Cerro de los Siete Colores), Tilcara with its Archaeological Museum and the Pucara de Tilcara (ancient Indian fort) and the Church of Uquía. Arrival to the city of Humahuaca and visit to the handicrafts fair. Upon returning, stop in Jujuy to see the city. Arrival in Salta in the afternoon. Accommodation.

DAY 4: SALTA-VALLES CALCHAQUÍES

Breakfast. Departure to Cafayate through the Calchaquíes Valleys. Visit to Cafayate, a colonial style town located at 1,700 meters above sea level. Its vines produce a wine that has achieved worldwide recognition. Visit to a winery. The panoramic view of the valleys remains as you cross the Quebrada de las Conchas with colorful rock formations modeled by the erosion of the wind; among others, the Amphitheater, the Castle, the Frade and the Throat of the Devil. We continue to the north by mountain roads, crossing small typical villages dedicated to the production of peppers such as: Animaná, El Barrial and San Carlos. Arrival at the village of Molinos and transfer to your chosen hotel.

DAY 5: SALTA-VALLES CALCHAQUÍES

Breakfast. Departure to San José de Cachi, a city founded in the 17th century on the slopes of the Cachi mountain, with a fantastic view of the surrounding valleys. Visit to the archaeological museum and the parish church. Continuation through Los Cardones National Park, with great abundance in giant cacti. Ascent to the Cuesta del Obispo, where the 3,720 SNM are reached, obtaining a colorful view of the beautiful Calchaquíes Valleys. In the afternoon, arrival in the city of Salta and transfer to your chosen hotel.

DAY 6: SALTA - SAN ANTONIO DE LOS COBRES - SALINAS GRANDES - CUESTA DE LIPÁN - PURMAMARCA

Breakfast. Departure for the specially equipped 4 x 4 Cloud Safari and combine three unforgettable walks of the Argentine Northwest on one day: "Path of the Clouds", following the tracks of the famous Train of the Clouds through Quebrada del Toro to San Antonio de los Cobres. Then the crossing of the Puna by Route 40 arriving until Salinas Grandes de Jujuy. And, finally, the descent of the spectacular Cuesta de Lipán reaching the picturesque village of Purmamarca at the foot of the famous Hill of Seven Colors. At night return to Salta.

DAY 7: SALTA - BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast and transfer to the airport of Salta to catch the flight to the city of Buenos Aires. Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to your chosen hotel. Accommodation. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 8: BUENOS AIRES, FREE DAY. TANGO DINNER AND SHOW AT NIGHT.

Breakfast and free day. As an optional tour, we suggest an excursion to the Delta del Tigre during the day. In the evening we will go to a Dinner Show in one of the many tango houses where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and an international quality tango show.

DAY 9: BUENOS AIRES, FREE DAY.

Breakfast and free day. Optional is the recommended visit for a stay where you can enjoy a typical day of course with lunch, including the traditional barbecue, in addition to watching the Gaucho Fiesta show.

DAY 10: BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast and transfer to Ezeiza airport to board your return flight.
