Trips to Argentina | Getaway to Mendoza

Day 1: Buenos Aires – Mendoza

Arrival at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery to board the flight to the city of Mendoza. In the afternoon we will go on a half day tour visiting some of the best wineries and tasting excellent wines with the guide of an oenologist. Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 2: Excursion to the Upper-mountain

After breakfast we set off on a full day excursion to the upper mountain. We will travel from the city of Mendoza to the border with Chile. During our trip we will see the enormous Potrerillos dam. We will also pass different localities such as Uspallata, Picheuta, Polvaredas and Punta de Vacas. Then we will pass one of the most highlighted locations on our trip, where the Las Cuevas river has eroded the mountain forming a natural bridge where there are thermal waters. Then we will pass the climbers cemetery, where there is a natural viewpoint from where we can see the Mount Aconcagua. Continuing with our trip, we reach the Cristo Redentor, a monument which is 4,200 meters above sea level and symbolizes fraternity between Argentines and Chileans. Back to the hotel.

Day 3: Mendoza – Buenos Aires

Breakfast and free time until the time of the transfer to the airport to board the flight to Buenos Aires.

During our High Mountain tour, we will travel towards the Andes mountains, visiting Dique Potrerillos, then Uspallata, and continue the trip to Puente del Inca. We will stop at the Aconcagua Mountain viewpoint, and then we will ascend the Christ the Redeemer of the Andes statue.
