On this tour, you will visit the most important lakes in the south of Argentina and Chile. A great experience, visiting the most beautiful and natural landscapes in the region between the cities of Puerto Varas and San Carlos de Bariloche. You will also go on a wonderful excursion to San Martín de los Andes along the Road of the Seven Lakes.

Day 1: Buenos Aires – Bariloche

Breakfast and transfer from the hotel to the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery to board the flight to Bariloche. Arrival in Bariloche. Transfer to the chosen hotel and check-in. Rest of the day free. We recommend dining at el Ahumadero, which belongs to the Weiss family where you can taste regional products such as smoked trout, deer leg, boar leg and smoked cheese among other exquisite delicacies from the Patagonian gastronomy.

Day 2: Small Circuit

Breakfast and starting the activity to Small Circuit. The starting point is at Av. Ezequiel Bustillo, and after travelling for 8 km we get to Playa Bonita, from where you can see Isla Huemul. As the trip continues we arrive at the base of Cerro Campanario (1050 m). The summit may be reached by chairlift from where you can appreciate the vastness of the lakes and other natural attractions. Afterwards, the circuit leads to the magnificent Llao Llao hotel and San Eduardo Chapel, Puerto Pañuelo, the Angostura bridge, Bahía López, at the foot of the hill of the same name. Punto Panoramico (Panoramic Point), a natural balcony from where you can admire the whole Lago Moreno and Península Llao Llao. Back to the hotel.

Day 3: Activity to San Martin de Los Andes along the 7 Lakes

Breakfast and full day activity to San Martin de los Andes. This beautiful tour includes a range of landscapes, to be admired in this beautiful region. The road to San Martin goes through the forest and crosses rivers, creeks and borders several lakes (Nahuel Huapi – Correntoso – Espejo – Escondido – Villarino – Falkner and Machonico) where there are some beaches and several panoramic points to admire the breathtaking views. Bordering the Lago Lacar we arrive in San Martin de los Andes. As we return through Paso Cordoba, we get a different view. After bordering the Lago Meliquina the forest disappears giving way to strange and fascinating rocky formations. As we reach Confluencias, the deep blue waters of the Rio Limay form the “Valle Encantado” and the “Amphitheatre” adding more beauty to this magical scene. Back to Bariloche.

Day 4: Activity to Cerro Tronador

After breakfast, we set off on the activity to Cerro Tronador. This activity starts in San Carlos de Bariloche, then the trip continues to Lago Gutierrez. On the way, we can view the “needles” and slopes of Mount Catedral located on the opposite side of the lake. As we continue, we board the Lago Mascardi passing the villa and getting to the vantage point, a natural balcony, which offers the most diverse colors, the ideal place to take pictures. On the right, the Tronador Hotel is nestled in the high mountains offering an excellent view of the hills.

We continue for a few kilometers and cross the bridge over the Césares creek and visit the falls with the same name. From here onwards, we are in the valley of the rio Manso Superior and after traveling 15 kilometers we cross the wooden bridge over the rio Manso and pass the Argentine Gendarmerie to arrive in Pampa Linda.

Nearly reaching the end of the trip, we go through a thick forest and reach the Rio Manso glacier, usually known as “Ventisquero Negro”. From its vantage point, we can see the enormous brownish mud and ice blocks formed by avalanches throughout the centuries.

The tour ends at an enormous rocky amphitheatre formed by the Eastern Cliff of the Cerro Tronador. Popularly known as Devil’s Throat whose main attraction is the water falling in cascades of great height. After crossing a bridge over the rio Manso, we can see the three characteristic peaks of the Cerro Tronador. The Argentine peak 3,554 meters, the International peak 3,554 meters and the Chilean peak 3,410 meters. As we go back to the principal road we will see the Lago Roca with pristine waters, and after crossing the Rio Roca Bridge we arrive at a parking lot. From here onwards, we will continue on foot till we reach the Cascada Los Alerces, a cascade 20 meters high surrounded by a beautiful landscape of larch woods covered with moss.
