Cerro Frías

The activity to Cerro Frías starts at Estancia Alice, touring the slope of the mountain to the summit, where you will get a fantastic view. After returning, optional lunch and activities.

Our activity to Cerro Frías offers two alternatives:

1. 3 hours without lunch
2. 4 to 5 hours with lunch included

This activity starts at Estancia Alice, 25 km from El Calafate. We will ascend the slope of the Cerro Frías, from where we will see the Lago Argentino and, further away, the Torrres del Paine and the Valle del Centinela.

We will have a fantastic view to take pictures. Then we will continue ascending until we reach the summit.

As we go along we will see the indigenous fauna. Once we reach the summit we will have a while to admire the view, then we will start descending the Cerro Frías which is next to a lenga forest.

We will continue along the road till we get to the “quincho” of the ranch, where we will have lunch. Later we will have time to do extra, optional activities such as:

- 4x4
- Horse riding
- Trekking with Tyrolean traverse
