Located in one of the most beautiful places in Patagonia, on the shore of the Lake Nahuel Huapi, EL CASCO ART HOTEL, forms part of the landscape with its stylish architecture and comfort, becoming an unforgettable experience.
The modern version of El CASCO, has also been conceived as an Art Hotel, including a Collection of 475 paintings and sculptures by Argentine artists.
Each of the thirty-three rooms overlooks the Lake Nahuel Huapi, only 40 meters away, and is named after the artists whose works of art decorate them. So, as a guest, you can choose among the Suite Fader, Bertani, Quirós or Soldi, this last one, being the largest (110 m2 with a terrace overlooking the lake).
The Gourmet Restaurant, which has been distinguished by the Academia Argentina de Gastronomía with the “Grand Premio Mejor Proyecto Hotelero”, offers delicious dishes made with regional products.

Located on km 11.5 of Avenida Bustillo, 15 minutes from the city of Bariloche and from the most important ski resort in Cerro Catedral, EL CASCO ART HOTEL proposes a unique way of living art and nature.
In the 70’s and for twenty years, El Casco was a famous Inn on the shores of the lake, which attracted tourists from all over the world with its European glamour and the warmth of its owners and hosts, the German Baron Alfred and Baroness Ruth von Ellrichshausen.
Situated fifteen minutes from the city of Bariloche, the first building was constructed after the Cala di Volpe de Cerdeña Hotel (Italy), one of the many hotels that the Von Ellrichshausen family – A German aristocratic family that emigrated to our country during the second half of the 20th century –used to visit for their holidays. After long successful periods, El Casco was closed for seven years, until Ignacio Gutiérrez Zaldívar bought the property. In December 2006, the hotel was reinaugurated and Ruth kept the house next to the hotel where she now lives.
The refurbishing project was in charge of the architect Julio Coccifi and the engineer Carlos Thays. The new building was constructed with a classic, but contemporary design. Although, the only piece that was kept from the old house was the wooden and iron winding staircase, the builders preserved the spirit that it had been given by its former owners.

RESTAURANT & BAR
It has a capacity for 70 persons, and the menu was designed by Fernando Trocca (Executive Chef) and Martín Erkekdjian (Resident Chef). The Restaurant & Bar offers Gourmet cuisine and uses fresh regional products; some dishes are based on the Baroness Ellrichshausen recipes. It has been distinguished by the Academia Argentina de Gastronomía.
WINE BAR
The Wine Bar is decorated with 15 works of art by Ernesto Bertani. It is the ideal place for dinners and private meetings.
LA CAVA
In this wine cellar, there are 1700 bottles of the best one hundred national wineries and some imported champagnes, there the diner can choose his bottle of wine with the advice of a sommelier.
LA CARTA DE COCKTAILS
La Carta de Cocktails is a complete innovation, developed after many months of work by the bartender Renato Giovanoni, who created 20 new drinks that make reference to the artists from the collection and their painting style.
The hotel’s Health Club has a heated pool in & out, and deck with an amazing view of the lake, a modern gym, sauna (dry and wet), 2 salons for treatments and a beauty salon. The outdoor Jacuzzi, located on the terrace of this wonderful place, invites to relax at any moment.

There are a total of 18 Nahuel Studios, which can be changed to twin. Located on the first floor (8), and, on the second floor (10).
Nahuel Balcony Studio
A large studio of 56 m2 (45 m2 covered area and 11 m2 open space area)– 600 sqf (482 sqf covered area and 118 sqf open space area) with a large window and private terrace overlooking the Lake Nahuel Huapi and the hotel gardens. It has a king size bed or twin beds, bathroom with separate washbasin, air conditioning, plasma TV, DVD, music equipment, desk. There are a total of 6 Nahuel Balcony Studios. Located on the same level as the Lobby (4) and, on the first floor (2).
Nahuel Corner Suites
A Junior Suite 52 m2 – 559 sqf , with a double bed, bathroom with separate washbasin, air conditioning, plasma TV, DVD, music equipment, desk, walk-in closet, overlooking the Lake Nahuel Huapi, only 40 m away. There are a total of 5 Nahuel Corner Suites, located on the same level as the Lobby (1), on the first floor (2), and on the second floor (2). The 5 Corner Suites can be connected with the Nahuel Studios Twin to form “apartments for families, with a surface of 97m2 – 1044 sqf” = 1 Corner Suite + 1 Studio Twin.
